journal challenge 07 / editorial - tranquility amongst commotion

hong kong - a busy and noisy place

living in the centre of the city / living by busy streets

but i still try to enjoy looking around where i go, and to feel the environment

have always been looking for a place which doesn’t look like Hong Kong for a little escape

this is one of the reason that this location had been chosen

//

finding this place online isnt difficult, but looking for it was a bit tricky

took a train for 50mins to Fanling then 15mins taxi to the starting point near las shui hung village

//

first thing I saw was a peaceful lake

i was shocked

and stood by the lake

enjoyed that peaceful and silence moment

//

started the hike

headed to the second destination of the hike

a reservoir 

stood there for quite a long time 

looking at an old man fishing in the reservoir

//

during the hike

saw a lot of little plants

//

quiet is peace

tranquility

quiet is turning down the volume button

silence is pushing the off button

shutting it down
